Oysterband  British folk-rock legends. Five times winners of the BBC Folk Awards. Numerous UK and European tours (including touring with guest singer June Tabor). Recorded the album"Read The Sky" which was number one in the folk charts for two weeks.

ZubopGambia  London based world-music nine-piece collaboration with musicians from Gambia and Guinea. Four critically acclaimed albums including “Live at Ronnie Scott’s”. Tours of Europe and three Arts Council funded tours of the U.K. Festivals include Glastonbury and WOMAD.

Fantazia Fusion of North African Berber and British musicians. Two albums on Harmonia Mudi’s “World Village” label. Arts Council tours of the U.K. Appearance on Carlton T.V’s “The Warehouse”; BBC World Service, Live from the Jazz Café on BBC Radio 3; BBC Radio 4’s “Loose Ends”;  Andy Kershaw session from Maida Vale studios; “Roots Festival”, Amsterdam; "Gnawa Festival" Algiers.

 

The Happy End Twenty piece big band featuring the works of Kurt Wiel and Spanish revolutionary folk songs amongst others. U.K and European concerts.

Viv Gordon Company -"Restless".  Four piece band with punk energy and attitude. Arts activism project about community, visibilty and voice for survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse. Album recording and shows in Bristol, London and Ashburton.

Phil Clouts Trio  Jazz piano trio based on South African Township Jazz. Arts Council tours of the U.K. Critically acclaimed album released on 33 Records.

 

Gail Thompson’s Jazz International  Big band featuring leading international musicians including pianist Mervyn Africa, sax players Gilad Atzmon and Chris Biscoe, and trumpeter Claude Deppa. Album on Enja Records. Concerts across the U.K. including The 100 Club in London.

 

Panico  Original music inspired by film composer John Barry, and singer- songwriter Scott Walker. Gigs on the London rock and Indie circuit; headlining the Garage and the Powerhouse. E.P. released on Scaramanga Records.

 

Jonathan Kalb Band Ex sideman to U.S. blues star Lightening Hopkins, and member of The Steve Millar Band and Bo Diddley. Residency at London’s Accoustic Café, and tour of France.

Halflight - Bristol based wedding band.

The All Weather Band

 Latin, Funk and Reggae; house band for the Millenium Dome, London, and gigs throughout U.K.

 

Bootfare  Cajun/Tex-Mex music. Album and E.P. released on Canterbury Pop Records. Three tours of Texas, U.S.A. – Twice Headlining the Kerville Folk Festival, Austin.

 

Big Sun  Contempory Jazz  quintet. Live simultaneous broadcast on BBC TV and Radio 3. Winner of Jazz Services bursary to study and perform with internationally acclaimed musicians John Taylor and Kenny Wheeler.

 

 

On Bass Guitar:

The Satellites Northern Ireland. My own band playing Motown and soul music featuring U.S. singer Dana Masters, and Andrew Whittaker.

Fame! The Musical Belfast. Rainbow Factory (Youth Action NI).

Klass Northern Ireland. Wedding band playing mostly rock and pop covers with a 40 strong set-list. Around 50 gigs per year at Galgorm Manor, Ballymena.
